Chinese Farmer Builds Real Robots

Apparently this farmer must’ve realized that he doesn’t need to work the land alone, so he invented robots to join his farming. Watch the robots in action after the jump.

Farmer Wu invented the robots and let them to act like human beings. The robot walks and speaks like a man, it even takes people for rides around the local village. Wu said that the robot is operated by batteries and it can walk 60 steps in a minute. The walking speed is adjustable so you can control it to walk slower or faster.

Surprisingly, Wu’s homemade robots are invited to the Shanghai World Expo for showing off how good a farmer could build robots. An exhibition called “Farmer Inventors” is specially held in the World Expo so we could probably see Wu’s robots at there. [Giz China]
