The One Series was announced a month ago. And now, one of the member of the series — HTC One S, has a knock-off version in China. We are curious why the Shanzai manufacturer didn’t choose to make a knock-off One X instead. But anyway, let’s check out this One S knock-off after the break…

As usual, it is powered by a 1 GHz MTK 6575 processor as well as the other knockoff phones, such as the knockoff Galaxy Note. But we are glad that the phone is using a decent 4.3-inch qHD display (960×540), it’s probably the highest resolution that we have seen on the clones. Apart from these, it runs Android 4.0 (with knock-off HTC Sense UI), packs 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage (with a microSD expansion slot), 8.0 megapixel rear-facing camera, bluetooth, WiFi, and a 1960mAh removable battery. It’s a dual-SIM phone, supports WCDMA 3G network. There’s no detail on the price yet, but we are expecting it to be no more than 1,500 yuan ($237).
