A Chinese Guy DIY a hot shoe cover

Have you lose the hot shoe cover and could not buy one? So, make it yourself.

Take an eraser whittled to the shape like the picture above, used for irrigation.

Stick a double-sided adhesive glue.

Lend a hot shoe cover from other camera as a prototype.

Combine them.

Get something to protect it until they are stick together stably.

Deployment of 30 grams of silicone mold.

Add hardener.

Pour those chemcial into the cylinder.

Wait for the silicone hardening.

Separate the cylinder and the silicone mold.

Mixed with 10 grams of double dose and Thai Epoxy resin.

Pour the resin into the silicone mold.

Do not pour the mold too full, therefore we started with a large piece of eraser, resin will not overfilled.

Wait until the resin is becoming hardened-off.

Done!
