Huawei’s Ascend P1, which was first unveiled at CES, looks to make its debut in April according to news out of a recent Huawei press event in China. The phone will launch first in China market and follow up with releases in Europe, Russia, Japan, and Australia. A potential North American release was not detailed. The Ascend P1 runs Android 4.0 ICS, and features a 4.3 inch qHD (960 x 540) display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with full HD video recording, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. Apparently, there will be three color versions of the Ascend P1: black, white, and pink. No disclosure of price yet. We assume the price will be resonable enough because it only provide 4GB ROM.
