
China Mobile, China’s largest wireless provider, will have over 20,000 TD-LTE base stations to operate in China by the end of this year. They will raise the number to a full 200,000 up and running by the end of 2013. The company will add three more cities to their large-scale trial of its 4G network, increasing to a total of nine cities will be involved. Hangzhou and Shenzhen may be the first two Chinese cities to have full coverage of TD-LTE networks in the urban areas. It’s sound great to have ultra fast mobile network in China, since the country is suffering a vey slow mobile Internet speed. And of course, it is also given a hint that if Apple want their next iPhone to carry by China Mobile, it must support TD-LTE …
