A CDMA version of the phone could launch on China’s third largest wireless carrier as early as late February or early March. The phone is currently available in China only through China Unicom, which has a three-year agreement to offer the device there. However, Apple has for months been rumored to be working on deals with China Telecom. Today, the contract plans of China Telecom’s iPhone 4S has leaked, check it out after the break.

The model of China Telecom iPhone 4S is reportedly ‘A1387′, supports CDMA20001X EV-DO Rev.A, a 3G network technology used by the company, which is a member of the CDMA2000 set of standards. The carrier only has the 16GB model available and bundled with either a two-years contract plan or a three-years contract plan (Charts shown above). For those who sign a two-years contract plan will have to pay for the monthly plan as well as the cost of the iPhone, the cheapest monthly plan is 49 RMB (around $8) per month, the iPhone itself will cost 5399 Yuan (US$857). Customers who sign a three-year contract can get a free iPhone 4S 16GB model if they pay up for 389 RMB (US$62) per month of 3G data, SMS, and calls. Moreover, there will be different discount for the iPhone 4S cost based on the type of plans. It’s pretty much the same contract system as for iPhone 4S that China Unicom is offering, but a little bit pricier.
Apple began selling the iPhone 4S in China earlier this month, drawing massive crowds there and sparking a riot in Beijing after the company announced it would not be selling the device on its pre-announced launch day. Previously, China Telecom found that iPhone had more significant advantage than other products but was inferior to Samsung and Motorola in total market demand. On Jan 19, Apple’s CDMA-versioned iPhone 4S passed China’s 3C certification and got network access license from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) to sell in China.
