OPPO Find 3 Officially Announced, Seeking To Compete With Meizu and Xiaomi

At the start of this month, we reported two smartphones from OPPO were leaked, including the R807 and Find 3. Two days ago, the company had finally revealed the official product images and information of their latest Find 3 Android smartphone. In terms of its specs, we would say this device is quite similar to Meizu MX and Xiaomi M1, also comes in the size of 4-inch, a dual-core processor and runs Android. Check out the full specs sheet after the jump.

The Oppo Find 3 specifications include a 4-inch WVGA IPS touchscreen, Qualcomm MSM8260 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM / 16GB ROM, 2-megapixel front camera, and 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, run a custom user interface based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread at launch, it will be upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The official claimed its camera is made by Sony, and its shooting quality will be closed to iPhone 4S.

So back to the question…Why do we think OPPO isn’t good enough in the race? Firstly, the price of it is still unknown but we guess it would range in between 3000-3500 yuan, as compared to 1,999 yuan Xiaomi M1 and 2,999 yuan Meizu MX. Secondly, Xiaomi and Meizu had been selling their device for a while, so OPPO might be running a bit late to debut its smartphone. With these two reasons, we believe OPPO is far behind Meizu and Xiaomi.
