Shenzhen works out a 7-inch Tablet PC

Good to have a iPad or a Tablet PC? iPad runs Mac OS, provided with a millions of applications, but it doesn’t support flash and it doesn’t have any USB ports. In comparison, a tablet PC runs Windows XP or 7, it has USB ports, but doesn’t work as good as an iPad.

Everyone tends to think a tablet is similar to the Apple iPad, and no exception for this as well. Rather than telling this is a tablet PC, perhaps I should say it is a knockoff iPad. Do you agree with me?

It is constructed by VIA X86 processor rather than a Intel CPU, and packs with 1GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB SSD (maybe a flash drive), built-in 3G Module and WiFi. This device runs Windows XP, therefore, it will not be work like an iPad. Basically, this device can achieve functions of a PC, except playing games (Call of Duty) and watching HD videos.

Ports are located on the right hand side of the body, 2 USB ports, headphone and microphone’s jacks and a RJ-45 port. A bit disappointed that it doesn’t have a card reader built-in.

According to the official site, they set the price of $4000RMB (about $570) with a 32GB SSD. I think this is a bit expensive since an iPad cost about the same price too.
