The Chinese Branded Gadgets You’d Better Not Miss At CES 2012

Throughout this week, everyone were trying to keep themselves update with the latest electronics that unveiled at CES, and you (even us) might be panic right now as there are surprisingly many Chinese tech enterprises showed up at the tradeshow with lots of interesting tablets and smartphones, just like Huawei world’s thinnest smartphone and Lenovo’s ICS TV. Therefore, we have a post here to rewind all these Chinese products that had showed up at CES this year.

What We Had Missed Out:

Gadmei 3D tablets
Gadmei debut two ICS tablets with glasses-free 3D technology at CES, the T863 and E8-3D. Both specs are very similar except for the 8-inch displays that used in each of the tablets are slightly different in res. If you are interested, the T863 is now being sold as retail for just $199, and the E8-3D ranges between $130 and $160.

Four New Asus Eee PC Models
While ultrabooks are far outnumbering this year, Asus still announced four new Eee PC models at CES this year — X101CH, 1025C, 1025CE and Eee PC 1225B. However, either of them look attractive to us. But if you are looking for a tiny netbook ranging from $260 – $400, then hit the link to view the specs.

Asus 7-inch Tablet
That’s the promising 7-inch Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet with a quad-core processor — Asus MeMo 370T. It is incredibly cheap which is available for $250, and that’s nearly at the price of Kindle Fire. Other specs include up to 16 GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, a 1280×800 res display. It is set to launch in the 2nd quarter of this year.

Lenovo IdeaTab S2
The IdeaTab S2 comes in three sizes — 5, 7, and 10 inch displays. The 10 inch model is actually the Lenovo’s version of an Asus Transformer Prime. But it features a dual-core processor instead. Lenovo is expecting to launch it in China immediately. Folks in US will have to wait until the 2nd quarter of 2012.

Lenovo IdeaPad A2
The A2 has been upgraded from its successor A1, which packs a 9-inch display, dual-core CPU and Android ICS. Lenovo A1 presented itself at the low-end market and we expect the A2 would do the same. Therefore, A2 is very likely to sell as cheap as A1 at $156, and the A1 would probably slashes its price to $99.

Haier Transparent TV
Haier revealed a futuristic 22-inch TV that you can see through it! The image appeared on the 1680 x 1050 res OLED display is looking sharp. However, that might not be a TV that you want to put at home. The company is aiming for commercial uses, such as strore-front displays and wall installations. A 46-inch version will come soon as well.

Haier BrainWave TV
Haier’s BrainWave TV allows users to play mind-controlled video games by wearing a small wireless headset. For the headset, Haier used technology from a company called NeuroSky, which reads electrical signals through the scalp and translates them into digital signals. It is already available in China for about $3,000.

Hanvon World’s Thinnest e-Reader
The greatest apsect about this e-reader is the mirasol display technology. It uses the surrounding and incoming light rather than fight against it, therefore it provides vibrant color even in bright sunlight. In terms of specs, it is a 5.7-inch e-reader, runs Qualcomm’s 1.0 GHz processor and based on customized Android 2.3.

ZTE T98 Slate
ZTE T98 seems to be another quad-core ICS tablet that showed up at CES this year. But what we really pleased about ZTE T98 is the 7-inch display, this size turns out to be more portable and comfortable when using it. Although the price of it is still unknown yet, it would probably be more affordable than the others out there.

ZTE T72 Slate
We feel very pleased with the high-end tablet from ZTE showed above, but we also feel very disappointing to see this Android 2.2 tablet. Under the hood, it has a 7-inch 1024×600 display, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage and runs Android 2.2. It would be awkward if it priced higher than the $99 ICS tablet.

Ramos Tablets
You might be familiar with Ramos as they had already appeared in last year CES. This year, the Chinese company showed off three ARM-based ICS tablets, and they’re the 7-inch W19, 8-inch W16 and 10-inch W22. Ramos is probably the only Chinese tablet makers that used ARM processor in their tablets.

Acer Iconia Tab A510
After Acer publicly showed off its high-end tablet A700, the company managed to unveil a mid-end version of it — Acer Iconia Tab A510. Not much difference inside, still packs the powerful Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset. But the display res of A510 is downgraded to 1280×800 res. Well, it is still a HD screen.

Acer Iconia Tab A200
While all the spotlights are on Nvidia latest Tegra 3 chipset, Acer managed to have a Tegra 2 tablet A200 showing off at CES this year. The greatest aspect of this tablet is the price, because a Tegra 3 tablet costs at least $450, and this tablet is mere available at $330. Take this into consideration.
