There are so much news from China that passes by that we couldn’t possibly cover it all. Here are the Chinese tech news we are lazy to post or left behind, there are stories on Alibaba’s app store, HTC 4G Windows Phone, PC vs. tablets and so on, check them out after the break.   • Windows Phone Marketplace now accepting app submissions for China (Windows Phone Developer Blog). Microsoft is serious about Chinese market as China has recently become the largest market for apps after USA.
  • ZTE smartphone sales to double in 2012 (ZDNet). China’s second-largest maker of phone equipment said sales of its smartphones will double this year as it gains market share in Europe, North America, Brazil and Japan.
  • HTC debuts 4G Windows Phone device (WantChinaTimes). The Taiwanese smartphone maker has unveiled its first device running on Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system and able to run on high-speed 4G LTE networks.
  • Lenovo CEO says tablets make up niche market dominated by Apple (Bloomberg). Lenovo think that Apple’s tablets will not replace the traditional personal computer.
  • Alibaba has launched an app store for users of its Aliyun smartphone (Penn Olson). The China e-commerce giant launched an app store which provides Android apps which need ‘virtual machine’ to run under Aliyun OS.
  • Predictions of China’s mobile internet in 2012 (TechRice). Industry insiders and famous angel investor predict the mobile internet market in China.
  • Tencent says ‘No’ to the real-name system (REUTERS). China’s largest Internet company has no plans to implement a real-name registration system for its QQ instant messaging product because of privacy concerns.
  • Youku has licensing deal with 20th Century Fox (Market Watch). The Chinese online video hosting company has been adding licensing deals to expand its selection of television shows and movies.
  • New Internet rules in China (ChinaTechNews). China authorities published new security and advertising provisions for regulating the Chinese Internet market.
  • Digital game revenue up 34 percent in China (ShanghaiDaily). In 2011, China’s game revenue reached 44.6 billion yuan (US$7.06 billion) thanks for the new online gaming developments and a booming mobile games sector.
