Oppo’s New Android Phones Leak, Where’s Leonardo DiCaprio Hiding?

Leonardo DiCaprio was the spokesman for OPPO X903 previously, you might recall when we mentioned about it in our 10 Chinese Budget iPhone Killer list. With today, two more smartphones from OPPO were spotted — R807 (Right) & Find 3 (Left). The Chinese smartphone maker had already officially announced some details of those two smartphones. So, have a glimpse of the hardware and the UI design after the break. The UI design is looking quite similar iOS!

OPPO R807

With the specs of R807, it boasts a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm MSM8255T processor (Same as the CPU of Galaxy S 2011 edition), 512MB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, 2.0 megapixel front facing camera plus a 8.0 mp rear camera. The official claimed its rear camera is made by Sony, which is equivalent to the camera that using by Apple iPhone 4S. But still isn’t good enough to stand out among other local brand smartphones such as Meizu MX and Xiaomi M1.

OPPO Find 3

For some reasons, the company is not going to launch a smartphone named Find 2, so forget about it. As far as we know, Find 3 will adopt a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, the camera will be the same as R807. Also, it should be running customized Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread. The picture shown above is an engineering prototype, which would turn out differently when it officially launch. The fuselage is looking solid and metallic, no physical buttons can been seen on the machine. We guess it should be a 4-inch display.

No price and release date about the two phones are announced yet. Undoubtedly, all the spotlights are on Xiaomi and Meizu this year, OPPO is certainly lagging behind. Well, the two upcoming devices from OPPO are looking good, but it would be more appealing if it runs ICS. Will Leonardo DiCaprio’s star power can drive OPPO to a success in Chinese market?
