Meizu MX Seems To Have Problem

The photo above is posted by a member of Meizu BBS, which indicated there is a broken part found on Meizu MX back cover near the headphone jack area. The post had already caught many members’ attentions and raise lots of worries and questions.

Many of Meizu members commented on that post, agreed the headphone jack part is flimsy and brittle due to the outer layer of the double coating plastic is too thin. It seems to be normal that an engineering prototype has QC problem. As far as we know, Meizu had secretly told QQ Tech that they promised the craftsmanship of the retail version MX will be more refined, so let’s bless. This case appeared to be similar to what Xiaomi had been through previously. Meizu MX will open for sale in Hong Kong on the first day of 2012 and we will see if that’s the case.

Apart from the heartbreaking news, here is a good news for all Meizu fans. Meizu mPad (Mbook) still exist! We are glad to hear Meizu is still working on their rumored 10-inch Android tablet, and the CEO of Meizu Jack Wong explained he was worrying the tablet will not be strong enough to compete against Apple’s iPad 2, and therefore, he repeatedly delayed the launch of the tablet. If Meizu planned to launch a tablet next year, will it be too late?
