Finally… Meizu opened its Hong Kong flagship store this morning — the first-ever official Meizu store outside of China’s mainland. Inside the store, we can see display tables, banners, employees (at least 7), and the most attractive thing: the Meizu MX! Guess what, due to the lower tax in Hong Kong the 16GB MX will cost about $400, which is much lower than the $470 price in mainland China. Hop on past the break for some photos of the new Meizu store!
As we all know by now, Meizu has a plan to expand towards international markets, and the company finally made a big step forward by opening a Meizu store in Hong Kong on the famous gadget street Sai Yeung Choi in Mong Kok. It’s a perfect location choice, tourists from all over the world often visit Mong Kok and thus the new Meizu store will be convenient for international Meizu fans to purchase the company’s flagship phone, the MX.

There are seven employees inside the Hong Kong Meizu store.

The newly announced Meizu MX is being showcased in the new store. We’re told that Meizu will be offering the MX on January 1st, and it will be priced at just HK$3,099 (US$398), which is much lower than the CN¥2,999 (US$470) price in mainland.

People can fiddle with the MX on display inside the store.

Supposedly happy and loyal Meizu employee is always available to serve you.

No worries, the Meizu employee is able to speak English.

Starting from today onwards, all customers can pre-order the MX from the store.

And you can pickup the MX on January 1st.

We’ll be expecting some lines at the front doors of the store on January 1st.

So, what do you think about the new Meizu store? Is it a better place for you to purchase the MX?
