  • Google’s sad demise in China (TechRice). Former Google China President, Kai-Fu Lee, posted the foreword to his autobiography regarding on google’s pull-out from the China market.
  • China to launch 3D channel next year (TechNode). Authorities have officially started preparations for the country’s first experimental 3D TV channel and will officially launch in January 2012.
  • Acer, Lenovo to launch quad-core Tegra 3 Android tablets early next year (SLASH GEAR). Acer and Lenovo are launching their new quad-core tablets which run Ice Cream Sandwich to compete with Apple’s iPad 3.
  • Apple’s suppliers are endangering public health in China (shanghaiist). A new report has being corroborated on severe poisoning and pollution problems in Apple’s Chinese supply chains.
  • Baidu to invest 470 million to help Chinese small- and medium-sized enterprises (REUTERS). China’s largest search engine company is putting investment to help the local enterprises to expand their businesses.
  • Barcelona focuses China’s social media with Tencent partnership (TNW). The Spanish football giant has agreed to a partnership with Chinese Internet firm Tencent to increase its marketing activities in China.
  • China’s industrial robotics market sees rapid growth (CNTV). China will become the fastest-growing market for the use of industrial robotics.
  • Lenovo LePhone S2 to get Windows Phone 7 version in 2012 (WP7 Lab). The China No.1 PC maker will become Windows Phone manufacturers for next year.
  • Tudou sets up animation studio (Marbridge). The Chinese online video site operator has launched its own original cartoon production studio to aim at Disney’s Pixar.
  • Taobao Mall kicks out fake watch dealer (ShanghaiDaily). China’s largest B2C online retailer has blacklisted a local dealer for selling 1,500 counterfeit watches.
