Remember we previously talked about how Apple online store pre-order system messed up when iPhone 4S on sale in Hong Kong. So did you know how scalpers order iPhone so quickly? They don’t have incredibly fast typing speed to insert their personal details and credit numbers actually, but rather using an automated booking program.
Chinese scalpers had been using this particular booking program since the era of iPhone 4, and the program was also being used when iPhone 4S on sale in Hong Kong. It aids user to monitor Apple online store, notifies them once there is iPhone on sale, and helps them to purchase within a few clicks. We did not get in touch with the software yet, but with these printed screen below, that is enough for us to understand how it works.

iPhoneBuyer and iPadBuyer are the name of the program, they are for purchasing iPhone and iPad respectively.

Firstly, type in your Apple ID and password.

Then it will pop up a screen like this.

Choose your boss.
Note: The program is not for everyone, only for the one who works for the scalper. Therefore, the software required users to select the person that you are helping to scramble. We are not too sure how exactly this works like.

Then head toward selection for the store and the type of goods.

When all done, click start to run.

If there is iPhone available, then you will receive a pop-up asking you to type in verification number.

The selected column shown above means you have “Successfully getting the goods (成功拿貨)”.

If you did not type the verification number correctly, then you will something like that.
The print screens are uploaded by a Chinese scalper who is seeking people for helping him to scramble goods. He said he will pay $60 RMB for each deal, $200- $300 RMB a day is not difficult to earn. He also stated some conditions of the people that he is looking for:
1. Type fast and patient.
2. Type accurately.
3. Internet access at home.
