It looks like a new player has arrived on the Windows Phone market. ZTE has officially announced its debut Windows Phone device – the ZTE Tania. While it may be a bit late, seeing how Windows Phone 7 is almost a year old, but hey – it will get preloaded with ‘Mango’ (WP 7.5), in Chinese version! It only has a 4GB internal memory, considering that 8GB was supposed to be the minimum requirement for WP7 devices. ZTE might want their new Windows Phone to sell cheap. And one more thing, has Micorsoft solve the GFW problem in China for the access to their Windows Phone app store?
In recent days ZTE has come up a mature market player and shown a positive growth in mobile manufacturing market. ZTE has been trying not only to bring high end smartphones but also to compete with other smartphone manufactures. Now ZTE has gone one step ahead to unveiled their first Windows smartphone. Although the specs can’t be compared with top line latest Samsung Galaxy S II which have dual core processor, but it can still compete with other average end smartphones. The prices has not been unveiled yet but we hope the new Windows phone will attract the Chinese customers in some way, consider Android phones are getting more popular nowaday!
