Fruit Ninja Tailored Version Launch in China (Video)

Previously we have Plants vs Zombies from PopCap, Angry birds from Rovio, now the famous fruit-slash casual mobile game is being wrapped up and shipped to China too. Halfbrick Studio, the company behind the top-selling casual game Fruit Ninja has partnered with China Mobile, the world’s largest operator by user base to bring a China market tailored version of its sensational hit Fruit Ninja to the mobile market of China. The Chinese edtion, according to official, will be synchronized with the game’s current version in Apple Store, which will 5 updates ahead of the pirate version. China mobile games’ market is huge and we can forsee there will be more games tailor made for the Chinese !

China Mobile version of Fruit Ninja will be featuring a bunch of local flavors, for instance, adding new fruit peach and background images with the twelve zodiac animals that stem from traditional Chinese culture, user can also used a new type of Chinese styled slide. Shainiel Deo, the CEO of Halfbrick Studio says that they will not ignore the 900,000,000 Chinese mobile users, and the market potentials in China. The company discloses that to date all versions of Fruit Ninja have an aggregate of over 60 million downloads. User can play the game on iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Windows Mobile Phone, Xbox, Symbian phone, and even on Facebook.
