
Breaking news if this is ture. Yes, Apple new CEO Tim Cook might be coming to Hong Kong to attend the opening ceremony of the new Apple store. The local press has recevied rumor that Tim Cook has already arrived in Hong Kong, and got high chances to attend the new store opening on this coming Saturday (September 24th). From our inside source too, we have heard that the new CEO will be travelling to Asia this week. We believe Tim Cook will be attending the opening of Shanghai store first, then follow by Hong Kong. Travel from Hong Kong to Shanghai only takes about two and a half hours flight. If Hong Kong Apple store will be the 100th retail branch outside the U.S., Tim Cook might want to take part this historical moment! We will update this post when we get more information. Update: Bob Bridger, the Vice President of Apple Retail Development, has told the press media, CEO Tim Cook will not be in Hong Kong for the new store opening. We still hope there will be a surprise !
