Today, there’s an allegedly leaked image floating around Sina Microblog (China’s Twitter-like service) that shows Apple’s A5 processor—the brains of the iPad 2—in the internals for the next-generation iPhone. So, is this the iPhone 5’s dual core processor? Probably.
Ok, here’s the story. A Chinese man from Henan posted this picture on his Sina Microblog. The pic shows the internals of the next iPhone, and an A5 marking on the chipset. Interestingly, his tweet is later deleted without any reasons. We’ve read all his tweets, but there’s no explanation at all.

We found something weird. This guy claimed to be a Press & Media Manager of a company in Henan, and we found his tweets have no relationship with Apple news at all before he posted this component shot. So, why did this man suddenly post a picture that claimed to be the next-gen iPhone? Well, we think there’s something fishy going on over there. And looking at his tweet getting removed/deleted, we think Apple has something to do with this. Or maybe the administrators of Sina Microblog platform are ordered to carry out some kind of action? Whatever it is, we are pretty sure Apple will use a dual-core chip in its next iPhone.
