China Has The Most Intolerable “Apple”

Not those from the trees but the one that we always mention. The Californian technology giant was told by several environmental protection organizations at the start of this year about their supply chain in China has caused serious pollution. However, the state of affair did not seems had improved. Therefore, the organizations followed-up with a second report (name: The Other Side of Apple 2) pointed out the issue again.

The report entitled “The Other Side of Apple”, provoked bunch of environmental concerns. With those environment organizations claimed:

The company is hiding many shortcomings behind its brilliant business performance. Apple has not refuted the allegations, instead choosing to remain silent after environmental organizations.

The group also found out nearly 27 of Apple’s suppliers could be causing environmental damage, and the factory of Apple’s PCB supplier in Guangzhou to be attempting to cover up its irregularities. More than ten investigations into Apple’s suppliers’ environmental violations have been conducted over the past few months.

The report also claimed a bunch of suspected Apple’s suppliers are producing waste gas, waste water, noise and hazardous waste. Of course, Foxconn as the major Apple’s components manufacturer were definitely one of the evil to cause the pollution. Rather than polluting the country, they are actually causing damage to its workers, such as the suicide cluster and the manufacture plant explosion.

For all those issues, Apple previously did promise that they will promote the highest standard of social responsibility, however the issue is still present and this time Apple still did not say a word on it yet. And that’s why China has the most intolerable “Apple”.
