Wikileaks Releases 3,000 More China Diplomatic Messages

As via the Wikileaks Twitter account, 3004 more “cables” about China have just been released today. And 2170 cables about Taiwan. Check out the details after the break.

What’s so interesting? Well, the leaked diplomatic messages cover a bunch of issues ranging from Google, internet censorship, various political and economic engagements around the world and more importantly, several cables specifically relating to Taiwan and China. The highlights? Taiwan is the most explosive nationalist issue facing China. And the United States is cautious of China’s rising military (the J-20 Stealth Fighter?).

One more thing, WikiLeaks even unearthed a cable that shows the All China Federation of Trade Unions (AFCTU) has labor unions in at least five of the sixty Wal-Marts in China. Take note, Wal-Mart will not allow organized labor in US Wal-Marts, but we are now seeing Chinese labor unions in China Wal-Marts. Sweet. If the above leaks are not enough to satisfy you, check out the animation below, showing former Wikileaker Domscheit-Berg deleting documents.
