The Chinese knockoff maker’s new iSD has lawyer bait written all over it. What’s iSD? It’s a SD card reader that has a miniaturized all-white design with round corners, and a glowing Apple logo. Glimpse the glamor hands-on shots (from a Taiwanese blogger) and the video below — we promise they’re very interesting.
If you have a MacBook Air 11-inch, you’re exactly the person that the $9.99 iSD was created for. It’s not an official Apple product but, as far as knockoffs go, this is one of the more accurate facsimiles we’ve ever seen. It looks like the SD Card Reader from the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit, and has a glowing Apple logo up top.

The logo actually lights up when you plug it in, just like the logo on the back of your MacBook. Perhaps the best feature of it is… it lets the 11-inch MacBook Air owners accept SD and SDHC memory cards via USB as the ultraportable lacks an SD card slot. It also supports Mac or PC.

It can be yours for $9.90 over at the K.O. Gadget store. It comes in white only. So, this is what the Apple lawyers should be going after. Clear misuse of Apple branding, and trademark.
