Are Chinese planning to knock-off Secret Bin Laden Kill-Copter? [UPDATE: NO]

Wreckage of Bin-Laden Kill-copter

We did not make this up, it is only a logic thinking, which begins from a recent report published by NYT. It noted the US believed Pakistan’s intelligence service probably allowed the Chinese military get access to the wreckage of a stealth American helicopter after it crashed during the raid on Bin-Laden’s compound.

Why does China want to get access to the wreckage?

The fact is China has ambitious to enhance its military level, where we have already spotted the Chinese fighter jets and aircraft carrier. So with the wreckage in Pakistan, it is a very valuable chance for enhancing its military power. The only part of the Black Hawk wreckage that remained mostly intact is the tail of the copter, and that part has a special coating designed to elude air defenses.

UDATE:

The China’s Ministry of Defense and Pakistan’s intelligence services made the first response to the report, where the Chinese ministry stated on its official website:

“This report is totally unfounded and extremely absurb.”

NYT said the Chinese engineers had already visited the site and they had already examined and photographed the wreckage before it sent back to the US. And this claim is based on an America spies who said:

One person with knowledge of the intelligence assessments said that the American case was based mostly on intercepted conversations in which Pakistani officials discussed inviting the Chinese to the crash site. He characterized intelligence officials as being “certain” that Chinese engineers were able to photograph the helicopter and even walk away with samples of the wreckage.

Is that hypothesis believable? Yes, it makes sense. Pakistani government is definitely not happy with the US government due to the raid, therefore inviting other countries to examine the pieces of wreckage can seen as a revenge.

But why is China in particular? We are not sure how good exactly the relationship between China’s military and Pakistani military is, but certainly not bad. Previous report mentioned, China will be selling 50 aircraft in six months times to Pakistan for enhance cooperation with Pakistan on fighting terrorism and cross-border crime in a bid to create a sound security environment for the economic and social development of both countries. Therefore, Pakistan is kind of utilizing the wreckage to gain certain degree of advantages from China. What do you think?
