Oh, miracle of all miracles! The Meizu M9 has just received the CE certificate, which means the “iPhone killer” passed all tests and met all requirements thus it can be officially exported to European markets and legally sold there. So we’re about to see its UI being translated to French, Italian, Czech , Dutch and even Hebrew!
According to a French gadget blog, CiPhone.fr, the M9 is ready for the European market with the CE certificate, and it’s reported the UI is currently being translated to European languages. For the translation job, Meizu is accepting help from Meizu fans, where one of Meizu Me’s members is currently translating the UI to Czech. On the other side, Meizu is also preparing a separate European release of the M9 firmware allowing users to remove factory default apps and these would fix the ID3 tag issues where the European special characters were not displayed correctly.
We believe the M9 may have a chance to beat the iPhone and other brands for the launch in the European market, and if Meizu keeps the relatively low price, the M9 could be the most affordable, and powerful Android smartphone in the market.
P.S.: Here’s an awesome ad of Meizu M9. Enjoy.
