Still remember him? He is in Hong Kong right now, and we just realize that he got so many fans in Hong Kong as well. The purpose of this trip obviously is not only for fun, but to seek for an effective solution to reduce his weights. Let’s move on to the videos after the break…

His name is “Fatty baby Xiao Hao” or “Little Hao”, 5 years old. His parents came with him all the way from Foshan to Hong Kong for treatment. On the May 14 morning, Little Hao woke up at 7:30 and had two bowls of congee for breakfast. Little Hao was feeling very happy to go to Hong Kong. When they arrived the terminal of Foshan, he urged his mom to give him a can of congee to eat, and his mom said, “Get on the boat first!”. He felt very upset. But when he saw there is a snack food’s retailer, he ran toward it and shouted “I need to buy something!” Finally, his mom bought him a pack of chew and a pack of biscuit.

At 11 a.m., Little Hao’s family was on the boat and ready to leave Foshan. When the boat departed from the terminal, he urged his mom to give him the can of congee, and finished immediately. Well, that is not enough certainly.

He then opened the pack of snacks that bought on the terminal, and his mom also bought a bowl of fish ball on the boat. Little Hao ate four fish ball and the rest was given to his mom and dad. Little Hao was being very excited and active on the boat, he kept bouncing and sweating.

They arrived Hong Kong (Tsmi Sha Tsung terminal) at 12 in the afternoon. Little Hao was very curious with the environment, and kept asking question. When he went passed a juice shop on the street, he once again urged his mom to buy him stuff. Finally, he got a watermelon juice. He was happily walking on the street with his cold watermelon juice, and went passed a restaurant. He stopped at there and asked his mom, “Why don’t we have something to eat at here?” And his mom replied, “that is only for staffs”.

Little Hao was just too sensitive to foods, he saw some chocolate outside of a pharmacy, and urged his mom to buy it. Well, his mom bought him a little pack. At around 2:00 p.m., they finally arrived the hotel, and ordered some lunch to eat. Hence, Little Hao ate a box of fish fillet with corn rice, plus a sausage, half-fried pork chop, a slice of meat and a can of green tea. Amazing? Huh…

Afterward, they had a afternoon-rest until 4. They catch a transport to the Avenue of Stars, and went to Mong Kong shopping, and bought two toys of ULTRAMAN, cost $63 HKD total.

For the dinner, Hao ate half roasted goose, fish maw with corn soup, celery with squid, fired cabbage, and steamed Eel with black bean sauce.

Yesterday, his parent brought Little Hao to Hong Kong Disneyland, attracted many tourists to take picture of him. As he is way too fat, he always gets tired and need to stop down for a little rest. In the picture above, he is trying to imitate his favor cartoon character, he stood up on the side of the water mountain and imitating ULTRAMAN, KungFu, and attracted a lot of tourists. Many parents asked Little Hao to take a picture with their kids too. He just looks like pop star!

During yesterday morning, he was watching ULTRAMAN on his laptop in the hotel for more than an hour. When his parents told him to turn it off, he was not willing to do so, but after he knew he is going to Disneyland, he immediately packed up his stuffs and ready to go. Afterward, they got on a bus to Disneyland and Little Hao fell a sleep during the trip. Little Hao was not willing to get off when arrived Disneyland.

Once they got off, they went to a restaurant and have some foods! In the restaurant, Little Hao ate a big bowl of rice with chicken legs, a glass of cold milk tea, and a quarter of sandwich. Well, we knew he ate a lot.

Little Hao was very excited when entered into Disneyland, he took his mum’s camera pretend to be photographer. However, he can easily get tired. He felt frustrated when queue up, he likes to play carousel instead of rides, and dragged his dad into carousel as well. When the carousel started rotating, he cried somehow and hold his dad tightly.

Little Hao does not like to play coffee cup, but his dad saw a model of coffee cup and told little Hao gets into the cup to take a picture. Unfortunately, his body is too big, cannot get into the cup, therefore his dad needs to lift him up into the cup.

Little Hao really enjoyed air-conditioned indoor shopping, he walked into a toy shop and sought to buy a Buzz Lightyear’s sun glass priced at $65 HKD, however his head is too big which cannot fit the glass, so he gives up. After that, he saw a lovely watch ($150 HKD), and his parents bought that. There is a passion sale helps him to wear the watch, and found that his hand is too fat. Eventually, the store gives him the one of adult version.

Well, this is how much this “little fatty” eat and spend within two days…

Dr.Yu’s investigation of Hao’s abnormal obesity

As mentioned above, the purpose of this trip to Hong Kong is to find out a solution for Little Hao’s abnormal obesity. On May 16, after a wonderful trip in Disneyland, his parent brought Little Hao to see a doctor. The initial investigation from Dr.Yu believed he is just merely fat, irrelevant to any disease. The cause of his fatness is mainly because he eats too much. Dr.Yu considered the most efficient way to reduce his fatness is to strictly control Little Hao’s diet, and this is some kind of mission impossible as Little Hao is only a kid, and he extremely loves foods. Dr.Yu suggested Hao’s parent to aim at reducing 60% of his total fatness within two years. Apparently, the next two-year is going to be a lasting nightmare for this poor adorable fat Chinese kid.

Little Hao weighs 64.7 kg, 110 cm of height and his BMI is at 53.3 (Very high). After the initial investigation, Dr.Yu went deeply into the growth of Little Hao, his diet and habits. Understood that Little Hao began to eat rice at 1 year old. At that time, his parent started to realize his obesity is unstoppably increasing. Therefore, they brought him to seek for doctor advices and been to three different hospitals. One doctor suspected Little Hao’s abnormal obesity maybe is because of his tumor in his head, which caused Hao’s secretion unbalance (or disorder). Dr.Yu also has the same deduction as this doctor as well.

Dr.Yu also aware that the skin color at the back of Hao’s neck tends to be a little darker, claimed might be diabetes’s symptom, and also found fungi infection under his armpit as his fatness obstruct sweat to volatilize. When Dr.Yu checked testicle (his balls), the doctor cannot find it as he got too much fat. At last, the doctor needs Little Hao to lie down, verified his balls are fine. The doctor also found difficult to measure his blood pressure, and Dr.Yu needs him to come back on the next following day. At the end, Dr.Yu suggested Little Hao may be needed to take operation to shrink his stomach, however the minimum age required at least 10 years old or above.

The conclusion of this investigation is to strictly control Hao’s diet. This is the only way that can reduce his fatness, therefore his meal will need to follow the nutrient’s instruction. Hao’s parents need to align with it, perseverance is the key to success. Dr.Yu said, “this is a long-term resistance, cannot have any exception, otherwise it is not going to work. Dr.Yu worries if Hao’s obesity keeps increasing, Hao’s knee cannot afford his weights as a result of strain, his heart may also encountered other problems.

Little Hao’s Mother Got A Baby

On the May 18, Little Hao went see Dr.Yu to do body check. But surprisingly, Little Hao’s mother got a baby for around one and a half months, which means Little Hao will have a little brother. However, his mother worries that if his brother grows as fat as Little Hao, it is going to be difficult to take care both of them at the same time. But the doctor said, Little Hao’s fatness does not cause by parent hereditary, therefore his brother won’t necessary be a fat kid.
