Meizu’s Trade-in Program: Send In Your M8 For a M9 Discount

If you have an old Meizu M8 lying around, it may actually be worth something again —like you can get ¥800 (about $122) off from the original price of the M9 if you redeem it online or ¥700 (about $107) discount at any Meizu stores. For those of you who got a refurbished edition of M8, here’s bad news —this deal is not for you. Oh, it’s also not available for owners outside of China.

Meizu CEO Jack Wong said in his forum posting that the trade-in program starts May 10.

And Jack Wong is recommending this deal to owners who has problematic M8 handset. Anyway, if you are not in China and got a M8, feel free to mail it to us and we can help you to bring it to the local Meizu store to trade for a M9 by adding ¥1,799 ($275). Send us an email or look for us on Twitter for more details!
