Chinese Apple fanboys are happy to hear this. Recently, the Chinese government has granted China Compulsory Certification (3C) to Apple’s iPad 2. Well, for those who are not aware, since May 1st, 2002, China has required a mandatory license (3C) to sell a product in China. The license will be issued to a product after passing a series of test and this certificate will be valid for five years. So, iPad 2 is now approved to be sold in the country with the license, and has a validity of five years, expiring on April 8, 2016. One more thing, with this 3C license, it tells us that the iPad 2 could be available locally in a matter of months. Just. Be. Patient.
