Taiwanese Microsoft Engineer Gets Fired For Wearing Short Skirt

This lady here was an engineer at Microsoft Taiwan Corporation, but she got fired for wearing a short skirt to the office. And she only worked for one month.

The engineer, Dolly Chao, was being dismissed because her attire was considered “unprofessional” and her skirt “too short”. She wears short skirt, fishnet stockings, and boots to work everyday. She was under contract with Microsoft Taiwan till June 2011 and she could not accept the reason for her dismissal because she had worn the same type of skirt to her initial interview with the company and no one had mentioned that her attire was inappropriate. While she’s pissed off with the company, her colleagues are wearing jeans and sneakers to work. At the meanwhile, Microsoft denied her claim of unfair dismissal with the assertion that the company’s office of emergency management had over anticipated demand. And the local labor authority has stepped in to mediate the case, according to Dolly. Maybe she should work in Facebook or Google.
