Tencent Releases An App Specially For Android Tablet

Tecent recently launched an app called “QQ for pad” which includes a set of items such as mailbox, Weibo, QQ, news, etc. The design of the UI is elegant and user-friendly. At the moment, this app only supports Android-powered tablet and the version for iPad is still under construction. Let’s take a preview on the app after the break.

QQ for pad is a perfect app that collected all kinds of Tencent social networking softwares. Users can easily check the latest news, and looking up their Weibo or QQ space.

Before login in to the QQ, the front page of “QQ of Pad” shows news and weather. The weather and location are displayed on the top right corner.

After login in, you can see the latest posts in Weibo and also looks up your friends in QQ. The left picture is logging in, and the picture next to it is successfully login in.

In addition, the third button of the tool bar at the bottom allows user to visit their Weibo in webpage structure, which you don’t necessary need to quit the app.

The previous QQ app can’t show your friends display picture, but QQ for pad changed it. The app also makes use of the tablet built-in camera, which allows to take picture and send it to your friend immediately.

Conservation between your friends will be recorded automatically, and users can delete them manually.

If you get used to QQ mail, QQ for pad is as portable as using PC and basically users receive and send emails pretty straight forward.

Of course, there are much more widgets that users can play around with, such as change the skin color, setting up font sizes…
