ThinkPad X200 Knockoff Brings Back The Old Skool

ThinkPad X200 Knockoff

It is interesting to see classic tech products, and today the knockoff makers bring back the old skool with a Lenovo ThinkPad X200 knockoff. Seriously, do you still remember the ThinkPad X200? It’s Lenovo’s best ultraportable laptop in year 2008, and we can say that this knockoff here looks exactly like the original, but smaller in size and less powerful.

It packs a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor with GMA 3150 graphics, 11.6 inches 1366×768 display, 1GB RAM (support up to 2GB), 160GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 ports, SD card slot, LAN port, VGA-out and a 4400mAh battery. The design is very similar to the original, but the specs are much lower. Comparing with the original, it lacks a SSD choice, Core 2 Duo processor, and the upgradability to 4GB of RAM. Anyway, it’s very affordable, only 1900 Chinese yuan (about $286), 4 times cheaper than the original ThinkPad X200. Check out the pics below!

The ThinkVantage button is useless, it does not recover the laptop at all.

Gotta love these knockoff, unless I own one of the real device, there is no way I could tell that it is a fake laptop. It got the same design code as the original. It even have a thinklight, but I would count on it being functional.
