Flip Camcorder Finally Available In Hong Kong

Guys in Hong Kong who are looking for something nice but small for HD video recording, here is an ideal choice, the Flip camcorder. Check out the specs and videos of the launch after the break.

Two models are available in Hong Kong and they are Mino HD (4GB/8GB), and Ultra HD (8GB).

The Flip Mino is capable of an hour of HD video shooting (720p at 60 fps) while its 8 GB version and Ultra HD can record videos for up to 2 hours. All models acquire a 2X digital zoom and built-in image stabilization, providing an ability of recording 16:9 aspect ratio of high-quality H.264 videos in MP4 files.

The negative side of using Flip is that there’s no expansion slots to put in memory cards. But the built-in flash storage is absolutely enough for average users.

Of course, we won’t miss out of the most important part. For the pricing, Mino HD (4GB) for HK$1,450, Mino HD (8GB) for HK$1,650 and Ultra HD (8GB) for HK$1,750. All models can be purchased at Fortress and Broadway, the two largest electronic stores in Hong Kong.
