Meizu’s M9 Website Goes Live, Full Specs Revealed

Great news for everyone waiting for the Meizu M9. Today, Meizu’s M9 website has just gone live in the last few hours. The official product shots on the site look super crispy, and you got to check out all its new details and official specs-sheet. The best part? M9 uses Sharp’s ASV display with 960-by-640-pixel resolution and it will be released around the 25th this month. We want one.

According to the specs-sheet on the site, here’s what we know about M9. It runs Android 2.2, powered by a Samsung S5PC110 Cortex-A8 processor (same with Nexus S), includes 8GB or 16GB of flash storage, multi-touch, 5-megapixel camera which supports HD video recording (720p), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro SD card slot (supports up to 32GB microSDHC card), mini USB port, 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack, built-in accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. It supports all kinds of mobile networks such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA and HSUPA, The phone measures 59.8×113.0×11.2mm, and weighs 123 grams, which is lighter than Apple’s iPhone 4! One last thing, it comes with a removable 1370mAh lithium-ion battery, but there are no words mentioning its battery life.

You can prepare to get this in China soon. Meizu CEO Jack Wong assured fans that the M9 would be released in top-tier Chinese cities Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen around the 25th this month. However, here’s a bad news. Due to their limited production capacity, Meizu fans in the rest of China would have to wait a few days until they can get their hands on a M9. Well, can we have one for a review? Jack?

I would like to know if the system will be available in English. I can remember that the last Meizu was only in Chinese ( I think). If it has English, then it will be perfect gift!!!
